Welcome to FAMA HOUSE. These Terms set out the rules for using our website, applying to our community, and joining our trips, dinners and gatherings.
By visiting famahouse.com, applying to a trip or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
FAMA HOUSE is operated by:

The LLC operates the website, international trips (including Tulum), membership (The Club, The Circle), and editorial content.
Pilates Society sessions and local events in the EU are organised by Janine Carolina Palacio Collado, Swedish sole trader (enskild firma), acting as the Swedish operating arm of FAMA HOUSE.

When you book an international trip or sign up to membership, you are entering a contract with FAMA HOUSE LLC. When you join a Pilates Society session or a local EU event, you are entering a contract with the Swedish operating arm.
2. What FAMA HOUSE is
FAMA HOUSE is a private travel club for women. We organise small, curated trips, dinners, and gatherings. Membership and participation are by application. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our discretion.
3. Applying to a trip or event
Applications are submitted through famahouse.com. By submitting you confirm you are at least 18, information is accurate, and application does not guarantee acceptance.
4. Trip bookings — Tulum, November 12–16, 2026 (and future international trips)
Operated and sold by FAMA HOUSE LLC.
4.1 What's included: everything on the itinerary at famahouse.com/tulum.
4.2 What's not included: international flights, personal expenses, extra treatments, drinks outside planned group meals, travel insurance.
4.3 Travel insurance: You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance.
4.4 Payment schedule:
- Deposit: €500 within 7 days of acceptance (non-refundable)
- Balance: €400 within 15 days of acceptance
- Total: €900
Payments processed through Stripe.
4.5 Cancellation: €500 deposit is non-refundable. Beyond that, write to hola@famahouse.com. If FAMA HOUSE LLC cancels the trip for reasons within our control, we refund in full.
4.6 Force majeure: for circumstances outside our control, we reschedule or offer credit toward a future trip.
4.7 Package travel: depending on configuration, trips may qualify as "package travel" under EU Directive 2015/2302 for EU residents.
4.8 Conduct: FAMA HOUSE LLC reserves the right to ask anyone to leave a trip if their behaviour harms other participants.
5. Pilates Society and EU-based events
Operated by the Swedish operating arm.
5.1 Booking: through famahouse.com or local channels. Prices include Swedish VAT where applicable.
5.2 Cancellation: non-refundable within 7 days of event. More than 7 days before: full refund minus 10% admin fee.
5.3 Participation at your own risk. You confirm you are fit to participate.
6. Health and medical information
6.1 You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to travel and participate.
6.2 Information you share: see Privacy Policy.
6.3 Medical emergencies: we assist in reaching care; medical costs are your responsibility.
7. Entre Nos recordings
Appearing on camera is always optional. If you consent, you grant FAMA HOUSE LLC the non-exclusive right to use the recording for editorial content. You can withdraw consent any time afterwards by emailing hola@famahouse.com.
8. Membership (The Club, The Circle)
The Club: free registered membership. The Circle: paid inner tier, by private invitation — opens later this year. Terms will be updated accordingly before the membership programme launches commercially.
9. Website use
9.1 Personal use only. No illegal or harmful use.
9.2 Intellectual property: all content owned by FAMA HOUSE LLC or licensors. Permission required for reuse beyond fair share.
9.3 User content: by submitting content (letters, photos, quotes) you grant us permission to use it in connection with FAMA HOUSE, with attribution. You retain copyright.
10. Our liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Site provided "as is"
- No liability for indirect or consequential losses
- Total liability limited to amount paid in the twelve months before claim
- Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded by law
11. Changes to these Terms
Updated at /terms with current date. Material changes affecting booked trips emailed to you.
12. Governing law and disputes
For activities operated by FAMA HOUSE LLC (website, international trips, membership): governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes: exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA.
For activities operated by the Swedish operating arm (Pilates Society, local EU events): governed by Swedish law. Disputes: Malmö District Court.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also have the right to refer disputes to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
